Choosing Unlipped or Hydrolock Panels:
Multipanel Unlipped and Hydrolock panels differ mainly in how they join. Hydrolock panels have a tongue-and-groove system that locks panels together for a near-seamless look without trims. Unlipped panels have straight-cut edges, joined with trims instead. Theyre often chosen when finishing an installation, like in a shower enclosure, where you can make a straight cut and neatly cover the edge with an end cap. Both are waterproof and durable Hydrolock gives a seamless join, while Unlipped is ideal for finishing edges.

Hints and tips for successful fitting:
Cutting
Always point the decorative face upwards when cutting the panels with a handsaw to size.
When cutting with a jigsaw or circular saw, the decorative face should be downwards.
Apertures
A clearance of 2-3mm should be left where pipes or fittings come through the panel even where collars are to be fitted. The clearance should then be filled with silicone sealant.
Sealing
A 3-4mm gap should be left between the bottom of the Mermaid panel and the shower tray or bath by using packers when fixing panels. The gaps should then be sealed using silicone sealant.
Silicone sealant should also be used in all the corner and capping profiles.
Wall surfaces
The panels can be fixed to most surfaces using adhesive providing they are sound and free from loose particles. The panels can also be fixed directly onto existing tiling providing it has been de-greased.
Fittings
Fittings and shower attachments can be attached directly to the panels using suitable fixings. Heavier items such as sanitary ware and accessible furniture will require the provision of additional support behind the panels.
Cleaning
Panels can be cleaned using normal soap, water and a soft cloth. Alternatively, a non-scratch liquid cleaner can be used.
Abrasive cleaners should NEVER be used.
Do not let WC Cleaners or Bleach to come in contact with the panel surface as over time this may cause discolouration or damage to the panels.
