For many years bathroom manufacturers have produced vanity units, wc units and cupboards from foil wrapped MDF, these are fine and having being doing a good job for a long time, we even sell a large number of them ourselves.
However an innovative new manufacturer has realised that the are a lot of people have been requesting waterproof bathroom units.
This is due to old style foil wrapped units having problems when water gets into the joints and any cracks in the foil, they then can ‘swell up’ and need replacing. Although it is rare this happens a lot of people worry about it when purchasing new units.
