What is a Comfort Height Toilet?
A comfort height toilet is the same as any other toilet other than the pan height is slightly higher and therefore can be more comfortable than traditional height pans.
A comfort height wc pan usually stands around 43cm to 47cm (17 & 19 inches) high, whereas a standard height pan is around 38cm (15 inches).
Comfort height toilets are particularly useful for tall, elderly and disabled people as the extra height offers a more comfortable sitting position.
These are becoming more and more popular in public & private bathrooms as they are designed to look like a standard height toilet and can be made to suit traditional or modern bathrooms.
